Tiff at foldedgingham.blogspot.com is featuring a Prim Prairie Giveaway. For fun, she has made a beautiful prairie bonnet and single pocket blue apron for being the 100th visitor to her blog. What a sweetheart! The giveaway ends this Friday, May 21st at 7 p.m., EDT.

Go to her blog to get more info. Thanks Barb for letting us see this cute blog :)

Witches...Munchins...and Witches !

Last night, I went to Erin's play to see their rendition of Wizard of Oz. CUTE play!! It was 1 1/2 hours and the kids were fantastic. Very talented... Erin got to do a solo and nailed it and she also had a couple of other parts as Mary Poppins. I was very impressed with all the kids and Erin got all her moves on...they looked very professional.

GOOD JOB ERIN!!! Afterwards, 18 of us went to Leatherby's for ice cream. Did I mention...Saturday night at Leatherby's...what were we thinking! Stood in line for awhile to get in. Then we brought in 6 adults and 13 kids. Talk about a franchise to get into!!!...wow, the economy hasn't hurt them! Ice cream everywhere...every color imaginable on our table. The kids had a great time. (Did I mention how crowded it was????). I tried to take a pic of the group while I was paying my check, but they were all over the place. Kim and family, her Bishop and their family, Kelli and her family and me. Papa was in Idaho at a convention.

Our new addition...US Flag

Chuck has wanted to put this in since we moved. We had one back home (of course...it wasn't as windy as here...so we'll see). Our neighbor had his pole bend in half.

We spent all day weeding. Wish my flowers grew as well as the weeds. Sure looks better than it did this morning. Tomorrow, I attempt the petunia planting. That's the only annual I have. Decided it's too much work to plant annuals over and over and over. I'm liking the perennials :)

Tulips, Quilts, COLD weather and Ridiculous Prices!!

Our tulips are doing their best to come out...it took me a couple of days to do this quilt top for a Humanitarian project (totally clueless to figuring out a pattern)...BUT...really??...COLD...it's May people!!! I'm trying to get flowers to my mound, but it's soooooo cold.

Went shopping for a blouse...holy smokes...prices have gotten a little out of hand! Needless to say, I didn't get what I fell in love with...found a new store, Chico's. I hate to have to "settle" for something else. $90 for a blouse...really??? Those prices are ridiculous!! Back to Dress Barn and WalMart.

Paige's Baptism

This morning Paige got baptized! She has been looking forward to this day for a month. They moved, so she missed her original baptism date by one day. Then John went overseas...so she was a little sad. It all came together this morning and she was so excited. She kept going around telling everyone "thank you for coming". What a sweetheart! Allie and Tori gave talks, Grandpa baptized and confirmed her, mom gave her testimony (amongst tears) and Uncle Dan and I gave the prayers.

Her dad will be proud when he sees her pics. We've had 4 granddaughters baptized this year(Kamryn, Cami, Emily and Paige)...love all of you to pieces!!!

We had a nice brunch at Paige's house afterwards with family and friends. This afternoon we get to go to "Pirate Island" for a special dinner.
